Hi Everyone! And thank you so much for joining the 7 day wellness challenge.
My name is Sarah and I’m an Irish classically trained Pilates teacher. I began my Pilates journey as a teenager. After struggling with asthma and being hospitalised at age 14, I began looking for more easeful and restorative forms of movement. I loved Pilates from the get go and tried many classes over the years. I have always been a bit of self-professed health geek. As I built strength, I decided to set myself the goal of focusing purely on Pilates and light weight training to see how my fitness progressed. The results were what really motivated me to start my teacher training with Exhale Pilates in London. I now live in Lisbon, Portugal and travel quite a lot- often to my family and home in Ireland. What I noticed was how valuable having a way of working out from anywhere is- which is why I’m creating an app with workouts you can do from the gym, your hotel or living room ☺️ I’m so excited to be doing what I love and sharing some Pilates flows. The challenge is an introduction to what’s coming and to give you an idea of my teaching style. All your feedback is welcome! I really hope you enjoy the challenge and see you on the mat! x
